Every puzzle lives on its own page. The next page shows the solution in algebraic notation, with a compact scoresheet-style grid you can use for working through the line by hand. The board itself is pure black and white — no gradients, no color highlights — because that's what reads cleanest on e-ink. Pieces come from Colin M.L. Burnett's open-source chess font.
Designed for the reMarkable Paper Pro
The page size is 210×280 mm — a 3:4 aspect ratio that matches the Paper Pro's 11.8″ 1620×2160 display edge to edge. It also renders cleanly on the Paper Pure, reMarkable 2, reMarkable 1 (same viewer, same screen shape), and on any e-ink tablet or PDF reader that handles standard PDFs. Printing on A4 works too — the margins are generous enough that nothing gets clipped.
