Common questions

How do I pick the right difficulty?

Match your Lichess or Chess.com puzzle rating to the ELO band. Beginners is 400–800, Novice 800–1200, Club 1200–1600, Advanced 1600–2000, Expert 2000–2500. If in doubt, start one level below where you play — the goal is training, not humiliation.

What's the difference between Vol 1 and Vol 2?

Both volumes are 100 puzzles at the same theme and difficulty, drawn from separate stable slices of the Lichess database. Content differs — there's no overlap.

What does "Healthy Mix" contain?

Mixed tactics with no advance warning of the motif — forks, pins, skewers, mates, discovered attacks, and more. This is the closest to how tactics show up in real games.

Can I use these on other e-ink devices?

Yes. The PDFs are 210×280 mm (3:4), which fits the reMarkable Paper Pro edge to edge and reads cleanly on the Paper Pure, reMarkable 2, reMarkable 1, and other e-ink tablets that open standard PDFs. Prints on A4 too.

How often are new sets added?

New themes and volumes are added when they're ready — no schedule. Following the newsletter (footer form) is the way to know when new sets go live.
